Problem
Revamped the Patreon "Find Creators" experience to enhance engagement, personalization, and effectiveness. This project aims to create a more dynamic platform that better connects patrons with creatives aligned with their interests.
Solution
I conducted interviews to understand the key features of an effective search experience. Through research, ideation, and benchmarking, we discovered that Spotify exemplified these features exceptionally well. Drawing inspiration from Spotify, we enhanced our search functionality by incorporating filters and sections on the home screen suggesting creators you might like and creators that are popular on Patreon.
We organized our data in Dovetail using tags and grouped them into 5 categories. We then created additional groups by identifying similar patterns and common problems.
